What should I expect when I arrive at Body Language Therapeutic Solutions?

A brief intake consultation before every session assures that your session is tailored to meet your needs every time you come visit. Services will be applied according to your feedback during the intake. Your therapist will exit the room, allowing you to undress to your comfort before climbing on the table. Your therapist will knock before re-entering the room. All sessions require full draping with exposure to the area being worked only one section at a time. Your comfort is our number one priority before, during and after the session. Communication is vital and is always encouraged during your session. If the pressure is not to your liking or if anything whatsoever does not put you at ease, please feel free to communicate to your therapist any issues at any time during your session. Once the session is complete, your therapist will exit the room and await your arrival in the lobby with a refreshing bottled water.

What makes a Finesse Touch Massage different from any other massage?

A Finesse Touch Massage employs the elements of gravity, your body weight, specific stretch techniques with an intuitive combination of medium to firm pressure and light touch (pressure can be adjusted for client preference). A truly effective and unconventional approach to massage therapy that responds to the density of the client’s muscles in an effortless, controlled and cohesive dance that is both soothing and rejuvenating…relief is inevitable!

I enjoy getting a massage, but do I have to leave saturated in massage oils or lotions?

I don’t use oils…they are to messy. Lotions tend to be extremely water-based and may require many applications. I use a massage cream which has a smooth and silky texture. It incorporates the healing and skin nourishing properties of both calendula and jojoba oils. The unique  combination of these oils allows the moisture rich cream to glide on easily and remain workable throughout the duration of the massage session meaning that a little bit goes a long way. It absorbs cleanly into the skin, leaving it feeling supple and smooth.
